LCD Monitor





LCD or Liquid Crystal Display has been used as display a wide range of devices for decades, ranging from computer monitors, screen smartphone, to watch.

As the name implies, the LCD screen using the medium of liquid crystals sandwiched between a couple of panes of glass or other transparent material.

When seen from very close range, the units seem pixels of red, green, and blue that make up the image on the LCD screen.

Some LCD screens using the technology In-Plane Switching or IPS to improve color reproduction and viewing angles wider optimal. Screen "Retina Display" property of the iPhone 4/4s for example, is the LCD screen with IPS technology that has a high resolution.

Color LCD display capable of reproducing very realistic, but requires additional torch light (backlight) because it does not produce its own light.
